Terms of Service

By creating an account at noticewindow.co.uk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

NoticeWindow is a subscription web application that helps you record contract renewals, calculate notice deadlines and send reminder emails. It does not provide legal advice. You are responsible for confirming all dates and notice periods against the source agreement before acting.

2. Trial and billing

• Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial. You may be asked for payment details up front so day 8 is seamless.
• If you cancel from inside the app before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
• Prices are exclusive of VAT. UK VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
• Payment is handled by Stripe.

3. Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel any time from inside the app.
• Paid access continues until the end of the current billing period; your workspace then becomes read-only.
• We do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, email hello@noticewindow.co.uk and we will resolve it fairly.

4. Your data

Your renewal records belong to you. You can export them to CSV at any time, and delete a workspace in one click from Settings. See our privacy policy for full detail on what we collect and why.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse engineer the service, use it to send unsolicited marketing emails, attempt to bypass usage limits, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that materially breach these terms after reasonable notice.

6. Service availability and limitation of liability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is". NoticeWindow is a reminder and organisation tool. We are not liable for missed renewals, contractual consequences or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

7. Not legal advice

NoticeWindow organises, calculates and reminds. It does not legally interpret contracts. You and your team are solely responsible for confirming dates and notice periods against your source agreements before acting.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
